What happened to cross river?

Lost oil wells to Akwa Ibom

Borrowed against oil wealth during Duke era.

Statutory deductions have been made since then.

All that gbesse your rascal governor was taking from every bank under the sun was and is still guaranteed by the federal govt.

Osun's normal allocation ought to be 2 billion.

As things stand over 95% of osun allocation goes to paying bank loans.

Clap for your rascal governor .

If this statutory deductions were not made at source, Aregberascal for bankrupt many a banks with his bad loans.

Amaechi is the reason why Rivers allocation has dropped.

He borrowed recklessly with nothing on ground to show for only to divert the money to his personal use and to also bankroll the APC and Buhari's presidential campaign.

See what bail out caused for states like Osun, Ogun and Imo.
Our present minister of finance was Commissioner of Finance in Ogun. That tells a lot.

Bailout was a temporary reprieve and involved a federal govt renegotiation team on behalf of the states with the banks.

The deductions are going straight to the banks and not the FG.

Can someone justify why some Northern states are getting more than states like OYO? Only kano should get more. SW people are massively distracted from the real issues. This isn't fair whichever way you look at it and also sort if confirm why Northern states never owe their workers. Our forefathers would Be rolling in their graves. Pissed.

If 8.9bn represents Akwa Ibom share and say 90% of that is derived from oil receipts , let's assume that oil derivation at 13% accounted for 80% of the 8.9bn allocation to Akwa Ibom.

That means Akwa Ibom got at least 8bn naira from oil receipts of just 13%.

Which this translates to at least an additional 70bn from the remaining 87% that the FG keeps.

We need to leave this useless parasitic nation ASAP.
