Senators from the nineteen northern States have issued a communique today regarding threats emanating from certain regions of the country demanding immediate relocation of herdsmen.

The Northern Senators warned governors and village heads in South-East in particular to cease from making proclamations that could overheat an already polarized country.

Chairman of the Northern Senators’ Forum, APC Senator Abdullahi Adamu from Nasarawa West read a communique unbehalf of the group. Senator said, “We appreciate the steps the Federal Government had taken so far to contain the problems of herdsmen/farmers clashes and call on community leaders to be careful when making statements on these ugly incidences.

“There would be no country called Nigeria, if other parts of the country asked Fulani herdsmen to leave their communities and states. We therefore warn everybody, including Governors to desist from making inflammatory remarks. A governor is a community leader. The only difference is that he has a label called governor.

“If you don’t mind, attacks by Fulani Herdsmen in recent times started with the West when elder statesman, Chief Olu Falae, had some very nasty experience. It was attributed at the time to Fulani herdsmen. At the end, those people were apprehended and they were not Fulanis.

“This thing has been going on in virtually all parts of the country today. If we now say that everybody should rise and say herdsmen should leave, we will not have a country.”.... http://vanguardnigeria.org/northern-senators-forum-we-will-go-our-separate-ways-if-fulani/

Senator Adamu, who read from a communique issued at the close of the Northern Senators’ meeting stated the forum is determined to continue its unalloyed support for President Muhammadu Buhari. Adamu said the body believes President Buhari will bring about an even development across the length and breadth of the entire nation.

The Senators also promised that in order to stem the rising tide of clashes between Herdsmen and farmers, the Senate would either enact or amend laws that will ensure an amicable resolution of the herders/farmers’ crisis.

If sacking all the fulanis from the south is the criteria to make the north go their way, then I will encourage everybody from the south and middle belt to sack them from their states. Let's see if they have what it takes to go their separate ways.
Now the useless governors are issuing communiques, but were silent when their people were sacking communities, kidnapping royal fathers and leaders and killing unarmed people.
Very typical of them.
I just wish that the southern governors can meet and issue a communique too ordering the northern leaders to caution their people or face the consequences.

Imagine this Abokki is talking tough and I even see that as a warning. This the kind of things The treacherous yorubas will like.

They will now seat on the fence and watch. Abokkis killed them in Mile 12 and burnt their houses in the heart of lagos but they ran away.

Now The igbos are now showing Abokiss that they are not Yorubas. I pity the NC region because they are mumus in the highest order.

Inukwa m, okwa di ihe anyi na acho na uko elu ka onye ugwu a na si na o di na uko ala. Nwanne this your utterance was supposed to be a warning, but will go down as an encouragement to some us. Wrong choice of words, use stronger words, something scary, this one will not do the trick.
Don't forget to tell your kinsmen to respect their host or remain in the north. Also they should endeavour to build a ranch for their cows, you guys have more than enough land up there to serve that purpose. Ndi Uru ahia.

Whether u agree or not, it is completely archaic, dangerous & illegal for anyone (Fulani or not) to be allowed to be roaming around people's backyards armed & unchecked. It is against the trespass law recognized all over the world. Giving nomads the freedom to trespass into farm lands destroys crops & discourage farmers thereby spelling doom for the food security of the nation (ie. it will affect everyone). The right thing to do is for the cattle owners to buy land & build ranches since they are doing business. Call ur MPs & educate them on these things since they seem not to know. Have problem solving minds instead of ranting about tribe, party & religion u know so little about.

The Gross influx of Fulani herdsmen presently and now calls for the sharing of this history.
By John T

All JUKUNS SHOULD READ THIS.

The story is told of how King Yunfa, the Hausa Sarki in Gobir (now called Sokoto) hosted a Fulani immigrant called Usman Dan Fodiyo and his group in February 1804, as a result of this and since 1808 the whole of the northern region lost its kingdoms and were replaced by Fulani emirates.

King Yunfa is said to have been killed in 1808 and the Fulani warrior (Usman Dan Fodiyo) established Sokoto caliphate, making himself Sultan.

Gradually, other Hausa kingdoms were pillaged and taken over by the Fulani emirs. The ethnic groups in the core north were the first victims of Fulani imperialism, a venture that occurred because the people were given access to grazing land as a result of the hospitality of the hosts.

They however failed to overrun the Bornu and Jukun kingdoms , so the Shehu of Bornu and Aku Uka remains paramount till today!

The Afonja dynasty compromised by allowing a Fulani warrior known as Janta Alimi to settle in Ilorin, the Fulani guerrillas killed Afonja in 1824

And Ilorin, a Yoruba town under the Oyo empire, fell into Fulani hands, becoming an emirate under Sokoto caliphate till today! Even the attempts of the O'odua People's Congress (OPC) to revert to status quo ante and crown an Onilorin of Ilorin became an exercise in futility.

The Yoruba warriors got wise and defeated the Fulani jihadists in Osogbo in 1840, if this didn't happen there would most likely have been Fulani "emirs" as rulers in Oyo Alaafin, Ibadan, Owo, Osogbo, Ede, Ado, and Igede Ekiti today!

If the Bini Kingdom did not fight and repel the jihadists, they would have penetrated the Edo/Delta region beyond the present day Edo North Senatorial District which gave in and allowed the jihadists to overrun & islamize them.

Along with some ignorant folk most of them are now angling for grazing areas and a corridor through the entire federation. These grazing areas will in future become Fulani settlements, later commmunities and finally local government areas with elected officials.
If you think I am being alarmist look towards the once beautiful and serene Middle Belt state of Plateau.

The exact same thing happened in Jos.

Therefore, it will not be farfetched to conclude that the Fulani herdsmen are pawns in an agenda to overrun all towns in Nigeria! So that we will have emirs in Owerri, Enugu, Benin, Agatu,Wukari, Abeokuta and other towns where FG creates "grazing reserves" for Fulani herdsmen!

If Yunfa didn't accommodate Fodio and his warlike immigrants from Futatoro, Hausa sarkis would be ruling today in the north!

And if Afonja didn't conspire with Alimi, a Yoruba kingdom would not have been ruled by Alimi's offspring till today!

It is a subtle continuation of the 1804 Fulani jihad by the fully-armed and protected Fulani herdsmen with an age-old agenda to overrun and Islamize the whole of Nigeria very quickly.

I will end this with what someone rightly said- "The grazing bill is not an attempt to solve the problem, it's a subterfuge to progress the agenda"

It's an age-old political strategy really- ..create a problem, come up with a "solution" that advances the cause, and then give it a legal backing.
Make it look like a win-win situation.

Be as wise as serpents....

Spread this message for people to be aware.

You mean Fulani's have not been living in this country before Buhari became the president of this country?.
How come Fulani cow herders have now become another national crisis?.
You people should continue to promote your evil agenda, by creating and fanning embers of wicked flames all over the country, YOUR SINS SHALL FIND YOU OUT.
