And enlighten yourself Update The case is adjourned till next tuesday for the defence council to study the additional charges (since the charges have been increased from 16 to 13) and prepare for the questions to ask the witnesses during cross examination section. This is allowed to ensure fair hearing of the case. 1 Like |

If this government sweep this litmus tests Bukola Saraki's corruption case under the carpet, Buhary and APC already punched ego of fighting corruption would be forever gone and we the doubters are vindicated. We however urge that the fight against corruption and corrupted individual's be tough and total, with no scared cows. God help Nigeria. |

Decibel: I was going to ignore but it seems you genuinely don't know and not just wailing for the sheer fun of it. Saraki' charges were increased from 13 to 16, the 3 additional charges were not part of original and it behooves the court to allow his defense team an opportunity to prepare his defense, otherwise it's ground for "bias" http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/04/29/prosecution-files-more-charges-as-saraki-appeals-ruling-by-cct-chair/ https://www.bellanaija.com/2016/04/fg-re-arraigns-senate-president-bukola-saraki-on-new-charges/ Saraki actually asked for a longer period but Umar limited it to 10 days... The day to day will commence after that, also don't forget that Saraki is back at the Appeal court and still attempting to stall this trial so he doesn't have to take his plea.... Who will want to tell the world the reason for making 50 different deposits in one day... 1 Like |

The case was only adjourned to allow councels to the defendant sufficient time to study the new charges and prepare their submissions. It will resume next week on a day to day trial basis. 2 Likes |
