Am forced to write this.
But,why don't we learn from our past mistakes, why do we let history repeat it's self.
Is it negligence or foolishness on our own part.

Now look at this great niger-delta men and discover the mistakes they made and they paid for those mistakes with their life.

1)Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro (September 10, 1938 – May 9, 1968), fondly called "Boro", was a celebrated Nigerian nationalist and Nigerian civil war hero. He was one of the pioneers of minority rights activism in Nigeria.
He was many parts and different things to different people - a university students leader, a teacher, policeman and Nigerian army officer. An undergraduate student of chemistry and student union president at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, he left school to lead an armed protest against the exploitation of oil and gas resources in the Niger Delta areas which benefitted mainly the federal government of Nigeria and Eastern region with capital in Enugu.but were finally routed by the far superior Federal firepower. Boro and his compatriots were jailed for treason.

I don't wish to bore you guys with much lecture so I will do a quick analysis with him and the rest names I have.
1)boro: he was a student of chemistry in UNN and was made the leader of the student union with the full support of his Igbo brothers, felt that the Igbo and the federal government where the cause of his people's problem,he form his NDVF army, fought for 12 days, was caughted, tried by the supreme council, found guilty of treason and sentenced to death.
Now Ironsi being a brother from the south, reduce his sentence to life in prisonment, after Ironsi administration was toppled,Gowon recruited him to fight biafra soldiers and guess what,he was killed by his own unit-yes his own unit lead by col.adekunle, while on inspection not through exchange of gun fire during the war.
Who did he betray?his bothers from the south and who killed him? Those he trusted lead by col.adekunle.
Reason:he is not one of them thus does not deserve the glory of the war although he was the driving force which col adekunle gladly took all to himself

2)saro wiwa:who killed saro wiwa?......the answer is abacha
Who is Abacha to saro wiwa?........do you know that abacha worked closely with saro wiwa during the biafra war.
Location where they worked together was st bonny, goggle is your friend, you can confirm that.

3)awolwo:Yes,our own Awolwo,he was release from prison by the biafran warlord of ojukwu to take care of his people,he felt that the south westerns needed a strong leader at that time to help them navigate through Nigerian politics.instead, Awolwo, our British trained lawyer to take the rough narrow road for the good of his people,he choose to wide road which lead to his destruction .He alligned himself with gowon,And when babagida came calling for him on the accusation of planning an overthrow of his government(which he was guilty of),he had no option but to commit sucide(most people will say it's a lie).but the truth they say is bitter
We lost a gem in awolwo,a well educated lawyer, which of our present lawyers can reason like that star man,our future president president who would have taken us to the promise land but we lost him to Baba gida who has nothing to offer
Now,whats the implication of awolwo decision to side with the northerns
1)kidnapping of you elder statesmen in their own hometown,if you not safe in your own home town, then where can you be safe
2)destruction of your farmland

It's worthy to note these good name by trusting the wrong people
1)ironsi and Fajuyi:ironsi trusted the position of chief of army staff to Yakubu Gowon and Fajuyi accept the chief of defence, theopilos danjuma to the western region, both of them were betray and consequently lost their life for that trust.its worthy to note that Fajuyi is a true your yoruba man,who understands the African value and responsibility of being a host
Now look at Gowon who betrayed his friend ironsi, history has it that on several occasions,Gowon do visit ironsi at home to eat food on his dinning table, but when the coup came,he turn his back on him by refusing to pick his several SOS calls .now,i want you guys to take a analyzing look at Gowon's state of origin a tell me what you see?..same people gowon trusted ,remove him from office and in till today, his people are suffering the consequence of his actions(they are being slaughtered at night like chicken, even some very poor countries like being republic, niger republic ets, feel safer in their country that those in the middle belt.)

2)Goodluck:yes,even our own Goodluck was a victim of betrayal by the same people. starting from court proceeding to stop him contesting.look at his close friends or members of his people who shared the money from the arms deal which they claimed they used for the election, from dauski to his his own very vice president SAMBo,not even one of them won their state for him during the election.

Provided, this people who believe that they are BORN TO RULE continue with this mentality,we are going nowhere..

This post is for our future visionaries,so that they will know where to pitch their tent when the time comes

I will conclude this adage from Chinua achebe

**Until the lion tells his story, the story of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.***

No matter how crystal clear this piece is, some ppl will still not have sense. Maybe we are destined to suffer in their hands, or maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel. Who knows?

Awolowo committed suicide ?

Op, which Awolowo ?

It's an open secret.

Google is your friend.

The truth......they say,is always bitter.

Beta still......IBB is still alive,if you can get his audience, ask him about the failed coup masterminded by Awolowo during his military regime.

Ask him the two options,he gave Awolowo to choose from, after he found out about the coup plot.

Be rest assured,he will satisfy your curiosity. remember old people have nothing to offer other than their wisdom and experiences in life, that's why you see them repeat the same story over and over again, cause this time,he has nothing to lose .

THATS If You Can meet HIM
