If by virtual reality glasses u mean virtual reality headsets, then the best one for mobile phones right now us Samsung gear vr but unfortunately it only works with Samsung high end devices like Galaxy s6/s6 edge, note 5, s6 edge plus, s7 and s7 edge plus.

However Google cardboard is a cheaper vr headset which is compatible with virtually every android phones including iphones, but the experience cannot match that of Samsung gear vr. Ur phones needs to have at least 2gb of ram and at least 1080p display for better experience. If u use a low res 720p phone u are going to have a terrible experience for sure. This is why Samsung gear vr only works with their high end phones with 2k screen.

All that @Greenhaulk said is necessary but If your phone do not have a GYROSCOPE SENSOR then forget it. I have a Google Cardboard at home and I'm willing to sell it because I would be getting a new VR Headset soon which is BOBOVR 3. You should check it out on Gearbest because it is cheaper there.

The ones on gearbest are glorified Google cardboard. The only difference is they have straps to attach to ur head hence more comfortable. U still need a phone with at least 2gb of ram or ur phone will freeze quickly while using it with the headset. Also using it with a 720p phone will hurt ur eyes because of pixels. U are having a phone strapped to ur face, u need at least 1080p resolution to have a good experience. Other than that any phone will work.

And if ur phone doesn't have gyroscope just forget it.
