It is not a surprise. The president had been telling the world that all Nigerians are corrupt except him

It's so sad reading about how this foreign leaders talk about us without respect but truth be told, we are responsible for all the insult and abuses. We are a terribly corrupt country with terribly corrupt leaders and followers.

For once, we have a president who is trying to clean up the corrupt system and some citizens are fighting and urging him to stop the war on corruption. We've even seen cases where some youths have mounted serious protest against the trials of politicians who are standing trial for corruption under the guise that the trial is political witch hunt.

If we want to earn the respect of the international community, we need to change our shameless support for corrupt leaders and support the president's effort to wage serious war on corrupt former officials.

Well said, I couldn't have said it better myself. Everything Cameron said word for word is the truth. Buhari is trying very hard but his efforts are bein frustrated by the same people he is trying to help. what a disgrace and laughing stock. This should be a wake up call.

Imagine people on this forum even shouting BringBackCorruption!! What does one expect?

It is such a shame. I don't blame some of them though, corruption as been inherently built in the mindset of most Nigerians and so, we see nothing wrong in it. We need to change our societal values and start making corrupt leaders feel terribly ashamed for their deeds.

except where we want to be economical with the truth, Cameron's statement isn't far from the truth given what was witnessed at the CCT today where leave was granted for ninety (90) defense councils to cross examine a witness.
It's obviously a delay tactics, and like you that justice delayed is justice denied, what can that be if not a fantastic corruption. Sorry 4 Nigeria in Fela's voice! !!

Who says Buhari is not Corrupt? Brukutu sipping Dullard..

That Archbishop guy was oil worker in 9ja before. With the corruption in oil business, Buhari's stolen billions that vanished from London Midland bank won't be corruption to him.

These corruption monies, do they not buy properties all over UK with the money?

What is UK doing to detect stolen money from 9ja as they are used in UK?

You would expect restriction of non-business or declared money from a fantastically corrupt country, no?

Hypocrisy.

This is the reason why Nigerians must support the anti corruption drive by the Buhari government

The UK PM is a typical British person with their condescending attitude, but there is some element of truth in his statement
What element of truth that is new? Camerons father was indicted in the Panama papers but the British media decided to focus on Vladimir Putin and Bashar Assad of Syria who were not mentioned in the leak. The corrupt British are renowned for stealing from other countries using colonialism and military power up to the latest in Africa which is Libya and also Iraq; London is a haven for looted funds from around the world.

Its people like you who support white skinned corrupt idiots like Cameron to insult our country.

This is the problem with illiterate Igbos

Go and watch the clip

The UK PM, The Queen and the Archbishop of Canterbury all praised Buhari's efforts at curtailing corruption in Nigeria

Dont wail for no reason, it can lead to an early death
He's wailing for a reason and the reason is that there's no other logical explanation to appointing political rogues likes amaechi, tinubu and fashola as ministers other than corruption. Buhari should stop playing the saint role, am just so ashamed of him. he's giving the corruption concept a broader definition. He's not just corrupt, he's a deceptive crook

Britain isn't exactly squeaky clean. The Rotherham rape gang and others operated with impunity for years with the knowledge of the British police.

For Nigeria to successfully fight corruption, severe punishment must be imposed for graft. There is nothing wrong if death penalty is imposed for graft. We can not afford this kind of stealing that took place under Obasanjo and Jonathan government.

We can not afford this type of american presidential system it is too expensive for Nigeria.

I really don't understand why ppl still bother abt this country or Africa itself in general...the fact is things can never change and dat is not because i wish it so...most ppl knows that the govt is corrupt and also expects the next one to follow his predecessor's foot step...wat most ppl dont really concern themselves about is d why.
I am sure even if u don't really believe it, somewhere at the back of ur mind u do know that we are being run, controlled, and guided by foreign powers.
Think about it, do you really think d white ppl most of u know today really care enough abt a black man to see him rise higher than d white man, talk less of giving a black man freedom after enslavement?,
They enslaved and displaced us, took us away to labor for d development of their own home, wen hard labor is not needed anymore, they said they gave u freedom, and sent u back to a continent they have spitted and divided...and now made u believe in ur mind that u are in control of wat happens in d part of africa they gave u to stay...make u believe u chose the name of ur country urself.
why is it that when they claim they giving freedom, why did d slaves shipped to the U.S. not get freedom??...they need labor in dat part too.
Africa cannot rise because they see africa as fair game, and dat is literally what africa means, the bible says the devil twist words and turns dem upside down...they did thesame with us.
The word AFRICA is simply rearranged as FAIRAC...dat is Fair-AC (AC means "Anarcho-capitalism" Also known as market anarchy or voluntarism/voluntaryism.)...so you should understand now why they come and do or take wat they want and all we have without feeling any guilt...in a way, they are right...but also, they are responsible for our current mental state.
If u are wise, u stop hoping on change for the country and find ur own way...for starters, there are many ways to apply or acquire loan online, you can do that and start something with dat money.
Here is a link that can get you started on getting a loan: http:///1UGPyuN
