So people will actually pay 5.5 for contesting,?? If they happen to win the election, how, where and when will they get their money back and is it same amount or with interests and benefits and if it's the latter then what's the percentage??


Now I know better why politics in naija is a do or die affair

The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the timetable for the Edo State governorship primaries.
The timetable was releases by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso.
Releasing the timetable, Izunaso said: “In line with the Electoral Act and the party guidelines as well as interface with the INEC timetable, the party has approved the timetable for the governorship primaries in Edo State.
“We will start on Monday, May 16 with a stakeholders meeting in Abuja. By Tuesday, May 17, the sale of forms will commence. That will be available until June 3, 2016. By June 6, we expect all the aspirants who obtained the forms to have filled them and submit the forms at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.


“On Wednesday, June 8, the screening exercise will be conducted for all the aspirants who bought the forms. The exercise will continue until June 12.
“If there are issues arising from the screening exercise, the Appeal Committee will look at them from Monday, June 13 to June 15. The governorship primary election will hold in Benin City on Saturday, June 18. The Election Appeal Committee will hold its sittings between Monday, June 20 and June 23, 2016.”

What nonsense?Why shouldn't women pay for the forms too?That is not fair.We men hausle just like they do.Its not fair forale aspirants to pay 5.5million and females get it free.If they want genger equality ,they should also know that fairness and equity comes with it as well.

Apart from PDP, APC or effortly APGA there seem to be no other active party that can be hoped to take mantle of Governance; if my observations re clear, why then re those micro parties decieving them selfs? I think is high time we settle with 3 party system in these Country.
