Been using their data services for 7 years, their only problem is the sudden loss of data network at times. But as per speed, they are one of the best.
They also have cheap data prices. Etisalat's 1k for 1.5GB is similar to go's, but the difference is when we go deeper, like Glo's 4 for 9GB,vs Etisalat's 6,500 for 5GB

Swift has been 7k for 14 Gb for more than 4 years and it's more reliable than all these GSM networks.

It started with Glo, then MTN and now Etisalat have joined in the league of those offering 1.5GB data at N1000. Other plans have been reviewed also. 3.5gb data is now N2000. We're now waiting for Airtel to put some icing on the cake of their N1000 data. No dulling.
I think this is a welcome development. Let's hope it only gets better.
However, 5gb data and 8gb data remain ridiculously exorbitant at N6500 and N8000 respectively.

MTN dashes out new plan. No b cheat. #25 for 500 MB. Night plan. Makes sense. Customer cares say it can be accumulated. I am yet to try though.

And at the end of the day the purported 3GB data wouldn't even be up to 1.5GB in reality... So who truly lost?

Sshhwwww! I had to abandon my etisalat to go and stay in a long queue at Mtn to buy and register mtn sim just because of the mtn change in data bundle. Now etisalat has joined,I am going back to my etisalat. Etisalat browsing rocks it better than mtn.

That would be fantastically interesting, and such time when 5GB will cost 1K , the Nigeria telcos industry would have successfully complete one revolution in terms of data/cost.

I can still remember vividly buying 1GB for 5K from Zain then around 2009.

I pray such competition can be replicated in other sectors of the economy notably in oil and gass lol.
