THE NIGERIAN YOUTH

"IPOD", "BUBU", "WAILING WAILERS", "ZOMBIE". These are some of the words used on social forums/platform/media nowadays by our Nigerian youths at each other without considering the fact that this is what a few haggard and insensitive generation passed entities are using to close the eyes and put them into confusion thereby closing their eyes to the reality of happenings around them in turn achieving their (entities) selfish desires and gain.
After analysing the Nigerian political scene, I came to a conclusion, "RADICAL CHANGE IS NEEDED". but that change cannot be gotten by a weak individual surrounded by thieves or a seemingly strong individual with selfish gains or a strong old individual who does not realise this is the 21st century but relies on ideologies of previous lives. it can be done only by a charismatic leader who is ready to admit he doesn't know all,a leader willing to hear two sides of a story or idea and takes his stand in the best possible way. a leader who considers the plight of his followers and make them understand the reason for a drastic measure before it is taken. a leader who doesn't listen to a selfish few who are after their gains in secret as against the good of the populace.
Youth, the future of tomorrow is becoming a myth in the land known as the giant of africa...I ask you the youth of this great entity Nigeria, when is the tomorrow?
A leader to bring about such change should be a mixture of the old and the new. not new in the sense of having a social media assistant but new in the essence of understanding the present movement of this era and the past.
The social forums and medias are teeming with such people who knows the MISTAKES OF THE PAST, THE SOLUTION TO THE PRESENT AND THE ANSWER TO THE FUTURE. instead of this,we see a youth who are engulfed in the same mistakes of the past generations of tribalism and blind fanaticism. you see young people who are the perceived future of tomorrow engage in exchange of unpleasant words, name calling and tribalism..iPod for any Igbo man, cow nurtured killer for any Hausa or Fulani man and baseless Zombies for any Yoruba man are some of the names hurled at young ablebodied men and women who are supposed to be seeking a solution to the present dilemma that has befallen and is wanting to eat up our great nation..it was corruption but now tribalism is raising up its head bigger than the former...
to be continued
