My advice for you is to get an already unlocked router confirmed to do band 40, secondly stick to Huawei or ZTE routers and try and get one that's CAT 6 and above. Cheers

Would advice you don't. 5G will definitely get to your location sooner or later. My location didn't have 3 months back but it has now tho not strong yet plus price of things are going higher, you might sell now and be buying at a much higher price later

Yes It's cat 6 but only the versions with internal batteries are crackable, the newer versions with powerbanks cannot be unlocked yet.

Who has the best affordable data plan of atleast 20gb of any on these network ; MTN , Glo , Airtel or 9mobile ?
I do sub the MTN special offer of 40gb for 5k via *121# but lost the sim i get that offer on ..

That was in 2020. Dotmac is useless now. I stopped using them some while back. The 17500 subscription is 6mpbs so max speed you should be getting is 700KB/s

For the dotmac, it got so bad that I had to tell them to dismount the radio and give me my device. They have been trying to get me to connect ever since.

No way to discard it. Just keep it as scrap . E fit get use one day.

All Naija networks are just trash! Fews day on Swift na hell, network will just disappear for no reason and not reconnect..
Compared to Starlink that doesn't blink.. expect for few seconds when Cloud really thick. But that's months ago.

You may try MTN if Fiber broadband is available. Or 5G

U can also try Airtel 5G if it's available in your location, though they can be annoying sometimes with no valid reasons

Anyone here know anything about Airtel fiber plans and its speed? My security informed me that Airtel came by, took his info, and they said they were deploying fiber (FTTH) to my estate, and that the first month will be free of charge. So I Googled and also went on Airtel's site but couldn't find any info about their fiber service.

Gurus in the house, how does fibre broadband work? All those cables being laid underground how will it connect to your phone or devices?
