Despite having been served court notices for the enforcement of his fundamental human rights, the EFCC today sneaked Chief Femi Fani-Kayode into an Ikeja magistrate court where they obtained a highly contentious warrant to keep him in their custody for another three weeks even though EFCC requested for a thirty-day remand warrant.

Chief Fani-Kayode’s lawyers had served the EFCC the court notices from a Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, 20th of May, 2016, but to our consternation he was whisked to Lagos last Thursday and taken to an Ikeja Magistrate court this morning where they applied to keep him for another thirty days.

Point is he was convicted in this regime and if the EFCC wants to be biased they will stop prosecuting the case since this government came in. Though you can remind me of the PDP south west leader that has been sentenced after May 29th 2015.

Discontinue a case where all the witnesses have testified and been cross examined? The prosecutor had already finished the job before the advent of this regime.

Anyway, the accused has just appealed the judgement. It's now that the case has turned to Magu not before.

We are in Nigeria, if the state is not ready to send that guy to jail the EFCC will withdraw the case. Meanwhile he will be grinding his teeth in jail till his appeal is done with.

Let those cheering this fg for outright abuse of powers n d courts be ready , it wud get to their turn . n by then , all wud go to sleep!
Should any other party assume power, I pray they prosecute and jail any Apc Member guilty Of corruption. When you do realise that you will be hunted especially when guilty when your tenure is over, you will tread softly. In this way, our leaders would sit up. I am in support of this. Why do you have a problem with it?
Trying ffk on campaign money when amaechi Is roaming town freely , is d height of selective persecution!
Wike is in the best position to tender the evidences of any Amaechi's embezzlement to EFCC. don't you wonder why he hasn't?
Wonder why PDP is all quiet! No opposition again in thus country! Only APC opposing itself

The wisest thing for any Pdp member who knows he has anything to do with that money is to keep quiet. To be safer, return the share he got. If you are still depending on Pdp as opposition, you are on a long thing. Pdp is dead physically, psychologically, emotionally, physically, socially, financially and any "lly" you can think of.

where is it in our Constitution that using public fund to fund your campaign is criminal?
