As a Yoruba man I respect the Ooni of Ife and the central throne of the Yoruba race. The noble throne of the race has not been belittled to the level at which the Ooni will leave his throne and visit a politician in the north (Alhaji Atiku Abubakar). His visits to other royal fathers of the Yoruba race and other tribe is laudable and it shows his commitment in fostering unity in the tribe. Recently, it was Chief Olusegun Obasanjo that visited him in his palace, where he prostrated to him, not the other way round!
