I bought Mtn 3.75g for N2000 yesterday,didnt even browse much or download much,checked my balance today,then i Saw 1.7g remaining,how come?

MTN na big thief,think am gonna revert back to etisalat for browsing

This is normal for a congested server. whenever i experience this i move to a corner of my crib where 3.5G (indicated by a + after the H signal) is strong.
I noticed when it reached 500mb some days ago limit it started displaying 'data reset' on my browser http box since dat day i've been suffering

Etisalat is the best but the 3g isnt available on my area nd its not stable or else

Apparently I'm not the only one using up my 500mb. I really enjoyed it, I stream and download a lot. Plus my data manager records over 500mb usage few minutes to 4 when it eventually stops.

Again my 3.75 gig for 2k on my other mtn line rocks like heaven. very low 'burning' rate even though I'm a heavy internet user. something must be wrong somewhere becos we all have different experiences. Maybe the plan is just unfair to some lines #justsaying

OP, It is no scam my brother. I have been using this package since its inception.
Once u subscribe, start using it from 12:05am, if u use it around 3am it might not browse.

I totally disagree with you. Its a Complete 500mb deal and it lasts from 12am-4:00am if your experience seems different, double check, you must be doing something wrong.
could background apps be stealing my mb secretly?? Heaven knows am not lieing

funny thing everybody its worked for have posted a couple of screenshots,while other people claiming it's not up to 500mb have posted 0 screenshots.

i tried to subscribe yesterday at 11:58pm,mtn deducted my airtime but the thing just refused to connect.i called CC twice.the first guy who picked was yarning rubbish,telling me to switch the phone off and blablabla,i told him i already did that and it didnt work .he then he told me to switch on my data by dialing a certain code which i did after ending the call yet the problem persisted.i called the 2nd time only to be told it was a technical fault,that i should exercise some patience that the problem will be forwarded to their engineers.poor me,i had to forgo my 25naira and what i wanted to download.i have done this plan 4 times before and it worked,mtn must be up to something

even their free 10mb which use to last me more than 3 days on normal surfing no longer last me a day.yesterday i had 19mb,tried to download a file of not up to 8mb,thats how mtn zap the mb,i couldnt even complete the downloadings. Little things like these goes a long way in showing who they really are.

I think this 500mb plan zapping varies. I used it once, to download a movie with a file size of 479mb and it stopped working when on 471mb. Mind you the movie was at the download section and it was paused before I did the plan. There are enough people complaining about this to write it off as inconsistencies by those that subbed.

Mtn is a scam but on this 500mb it real and if u hav music on ur sim and u hav not deactivated it yet then knw that 150mb wil be taken 4rm ur 500mb .and like otherz said check background update2

If MTN isn't trying to scam their customers who activates this plan, the best way to vindicate themselves is to provide a code to check their data balance, since it's just 500MB not UNLIMITED.


Without this, MTN is a SCAM.
