According to President Buhari in a wide ranging interview with select newspaper editors as he concludes his first year in office, The National Conference organized by the Jonathan Administration is nothing more than a waste of N9billion, and admits he has not even bothered to touch the report of the confab and that the report may end up in the archives, he says.

This may further jeopardize the unity of this country as the report itself borders on the unity of Nigeria, at a time when there are cracks in the unity of this country with more agitation for a sovereign state, first by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and now by the Niger Delta Avenger, I think the President made a careless statement on a very sensitive issue.

I urge President Buhari to take a look at the report and study it before making dictatorian conclusions that "the report may end up in the archive", because Nigeria may cease to exist as a nation before he leaves office with the way he is handling this issues. Never in the history of this country has her unity as a nation being under a severe threat.

God bless Nigeria and keep her united.
