The former Minister made the appeal on Monday at a press conference on the state of the nation and the way forward in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

He expressed the view that the 600 resolutions from the conference dealt with issues of true federalism which he said provided solutions to the current financial situation that saw various states depend on the bailout to pay salaries.

Mr Clark appealed to the Federal Government to study the resolutions and take steps to implement the recommendations with a view to moving Nigeria forward.

Nigeria’s former Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, had also recently advised to the government to consider the report of the National Conference constituted by former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Professor Gambari who was speaking at a forum, said that government is a continuum and as such, the Federal Government needs to examine the report before discarding it.

He explained that it was a waste of human and material resources for the government to ignore the resolution of 492 Nigerians.

This very annoying. The resolutions made in that conference, were made by Nigerians. Not the government in power at the time.

Why should people be pleading for its implementation.

Our elder statement are either cowards or complacent. They should take over the media and compel Mr president to implement the resolutions.

What we suffer today in Nigeria is a structural problem. The problems will remain until we restructure. Why are we moving in circle?

Yesterday was bloody in the north, today was bloody in the east. Tomorrow north central etc.

Is this a country someone will raise his children in.?

Is more demoralizing when solution is no where on sight.

[size=14pt]Buhari and his Kitchen cabinet should stop the nonsense games and implement the CONFAB report.

It is amazing that Nigerian will come together and negotiate a way to be happy together, then Buhari and bunch of faceless people will sit on the report creating more frustrations and louder call for break up of the oppressive system

The constitutional amendment is ongoing
Please tell ur repsentatives to pass that into the budget
If memory serves me right, it was the plan to send it to the national assembly to be used as constitutional amendment guideline
How can Buhari implement the Confab report?? Is he the national assembly??
If they put it in the constitution, even if he refuses to sign it they can veto it
Even some foolish Lawers are joining in this call smh
