Wife of the president Mrs Aisha Mohammadu Buhari led a delegation to represent her at the first PERMATA international conference which is ongoing in Malaysia. She was specially invited by the Malaysian Prime Minister. The theme  of the conference was 'Children beyond tomorrow'


The delegation was led headed by the wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Gimbiya Dogara. The team included Dr. Hajo Sani (SSA to the wife of the president ) Wives of Kaduna Governor( Hadiza Nasiru El-Rufai) Gombe state Governor ( Hajiya Adama ibrahim Dankwambo) Sokoto State governor ( Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Tambuwal )Nassarawa state governor ( Hajiya Mairo Al Makura) and former Governor of Bayelsa state( Mrs Timipre Sylva )

The high commission hosted delegates to a Nigerian like dinner earlier yesterday where there was cordial interactions with spouses of the foreign mission in Malaysia and other delegates .

Many issues on Youth development , empowerment , child growth and foreign relations were also deliberated on .
