This is to inform all interested job seekers that the multinational Le Meridien Ibom Hotel is recruiting currently. The hotel is headquartered in France and has hotels all over the world. Recruitment is currently ongoing at the Uyo venue.
The hotel is known to pay staff excellently well. Staff also enjoy other perks and come in frequent contact with French, American and British nationals, among others. The hotel is located in a serene and gay environment close to the Cross River via Nwaniba. It is a state of the art edifice with European architectural masterpieces. The hotel was reportedly brought to Uyo by former governor Godswill Akpabio.

The recruitment seems to be unannounced though as there is no information on it on their website or jobberman. However, my friends, one of whom I escorted, went to submit her CV today and she was attended to at the Human Resources Venue. I can categorically confirm, without mincing words, that they are collecting CVs.

You can submit the hard copy of your letter in person with two passport photographs at the Human Resources Manager's office at Uyo. Although I highly recommend that you submit in person or mail to PMB 1200, you may also send you credentials to emmanuel.ibanga@lemeridien.com.

The positions that are open are undeclared so your application letter should be general. i.e. Application for Job Placement.

I'm resident in Uyo and I think we need to talk more. I detest hard copy CV submissions but I think Le Meridien is worth it.

I was at Le Meridien 3 weeks ago to see a cousin who passed through the state and lodged there, if you don't have a personal car its a herculean task getting to the hotel from Uyo town. Please can we talk more on Whatsapp or something?

I just need details on the right place at the hotel to submit my CV and all. Thanks.

Once you get to the hotel ask whoever you see to direct you to the office of Human Resources. It's a really big place and so the only easy way to getting around is by asking when you get there. You can send me a message on WhatsApp. I'll send my number to your email now.

It's an Nwanibia after Uniuyo perm site. It's quite far so the best bet is to charter a Keke or taxi to and fro if you have the means. If otherwise, just take a taxi at Plaza to Nwanibia and tell the driver to drop you at Le Meridian!

As for the passport, just scan and mail if you want to send via email but I highly recommend submitting the hard copy!

How can you send your passport across?

Secondly, I dont know if they will accept submission by proxy.

Liaise with other posters in this thread to know the modalities of submission and the possibility of helping you submit. Of course, I can help you do it but chances are I'd be too busy to go anytime soon and I'm afraid they may not accept proxy submissions.
