Nigeria - The new dreaded militant in the Niger-Delta region of Nigeria, Niger Delta Avengers reportedly blew up the Forcados 48″ export line in Delta State belonging to Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, around 3am today. The spokesperson of the group, Brig Gen Mudoch Agbinibo confirmed the attack by the group and was quoted saying “We warned SPDC not to go ahead with the repair work but they refuse. This is an example to all other multinationals.”

The NDA group had in the past week blew the same export line after which they made a stern warning to Shell, Federal Government and other oil companies not to commence any repair work on the damaged facility until their demands were met.
