Prior to the last elections, I was of the opinion that APC must win to set our political operations on competition so that Nigerians keep identifying good deals to determine their desired candidates, and this move - i turn, if all things being equal - will force political parties and their candidates to always look out for good deeds to win the hearts of Nigerians.

At this point in time; APC and her candidates are facing a lot of challenges; however, they still have the greatest control over the minds of Nigerians as typified by support or nonchallance toward removal of fuel subsidy by Buhari administration.

Unfortunately, this control of the ruling party over the minds of Nigerians is a bad thing consediring its potential to stop the competition the last elections portended.

This is why APC must break up for another strong party to emerge from it to give strong control to the people.Though there are media competition and some petty others currently, but APC still dominates the competitions because it has the president, the majority in the houses and other divisions. In short, other parties are sinking but Nigeria needs three competing parties for Nigerians to be greatly empowered.

Yes, these political parties will tend to please the electorate to gain their hearts for elections. It will be good if winning any position is not sure for any political party and her candidates.

Why?

Since Nigerians a becoming to be more realistic year by year and are now voting for substantial merits and benefits, parties and candidates will do great work to win people's heart to win elections. This means more substantial projects, people's oriented programmes and policies because such things that influence the people are necessary to win their hearts.

In conclusion, breaking up of APC will solidify competition through policies and projects that will influence the people positively. Above all, this is not meant to debase APC; it is meant to trigger constructive ideas that may help Nigeria. So, you can attack the loop holes of this write-up. Thanks.
