SOLDIERS went back to Oporoza community, traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, Monday morning, less than 72 hours after they ended a six-day siege to the riverside town.

A source, who spoke to Vanguard at 6.40 am, said: “The soldiers are scattered all over the community, they are moving from place to place, we do not know what they came to do again.” “Most of the young people fled into the bush again, but some women and elderly ones, who could not run waited behind to know what they came for this time around. I am seeing about 50 soldiers, though I am not sure of the exact number,” he said.

A security source, who wondered why there was fuss over soldiers performing their lawful duty, asserted: “There is nothing wrong in soldiers going back to Oporoza if they got more intelligence information on the perpetrators and their modus operandi.” Vanguard learned that soldiers searched the Oporoza Guesthouse, which they ransacked earlier and other strategic places. Former militant leader, Government Ekpumupolo, alias Tompolo, who some persons fingered in the ongoing attacks by Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, despite his strong denials, had his space in the lodge turned upside down in the previous visit.

Ijaw leader, Chief Godspower Gbenekama, confirmed to Vanguard that soldiers stormed Oporoza earlier today, but at about 7.57 am, another leader from the area, Piniki Azaiye, hinted” They just left now without harassing anybody.” Details later

Obviously there is nothing wrong in them doing their job based on intelligence info they get. Remember they are actually looking for Tompolo still and they must get him by fire by force. They don't send the militants for now.

....

sending military troops will not stop Niger Delta avengers from carrying out their pipeline attacks. Niger Delta Avengers said they will not be the first to strike the military. otherwise we would have already heard bad news about 500 Nigeria Military killed in Niger Delta. the Nigeria military had been warned not to strike first either. so they have to be careful in handling this issues. before it lead to something dangerous than Boko Haram

Do these guys know how to swim

A clear case of goats attempting to duel in deepwater with fishes.

I still maintain that diplomacy is key to ND crisis.

Are these Soldiers serious at all?

They will only succeed in provoking them boys and the vicious cycle continues.

Some Benue Mugu was suggesting they eat their yams na while the Niger Delta drink their oil

I am tired of hearing Nigeria news they just make me puke unnecessarily

True the soldiers are doing their jobs but if push comes to shove we all know majority of them won't survive militants attacks.

So it's better the Fg dialogue with militants than keeps losing crude production, risking the lives of military men and residents of those communities.

Like they dared the military in the face abi?

Let them show up in physical gun battle lets judge..

Instead of their cowardly hit and run approach.

So.... You ask, Why can't he treat it here? Aren't there Nigerian doctors who can treat him?
But you forget 2 Nigerian doctors treated him already and made the recommendation to seek further evaluation
themselves.
Again you ask: Why travel abroad after budgeting almost
N4bn for state house clinic? But you forget "budgeted" isn't same as "spent". So please, find out if the money budgeted has been released and spent before making that claim.
Still, you ask; Is it not just an ordinary ear infection?
But you forget that MENIERE DISEASE is not just your
everyday ear infection. Read up on it. Google is your friend.
Finally, you ask; Why did he choose to cancel local trips but decided to go on this one?
But let me ask you too.Is it your vacation?

It's either you're a Zombie or the person holding your pad cannot play well
