So who iniatiated the idea in the first place.... People are actually using the name of God to blackmail. Last time was a member using a fake dollar and pounds to give offering. Seriously some people punishment. Are seriously pushing up and waiting to bombered them

Now, this is reasonable.

The previous denial was probably scripted by a lost fanatic. We need to understand the difference between hypnotism (Church addict) & the truth (Bible, God addict).

The Bible is clear on issues pertaining to giving.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8 – "each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."


So whatever contradicts the above should be thrown to the bin, regardless of who, when, where or how it is said. Disregard this only IF your Pastor is older, greater, and bigger than Jesus Christ.


Kudos to the RCCG for the swift response/action.

Even this response is hypocritical.
The RCCG I am aware colelcts 80% of the total tithes collected in a branch, how do you want them to embark on a project and fund it.
I also get to hear this was done exclusively in a workers and minister meeting from where this leaked. And we all know workers and ministers are the fanatic of a church, so this is fine.
Apparently it was well tagged, it is not a regular giving, it is a SACRIFICE!!! Yes I agree you shouldnt force it on all members, but workers and ministers everywhere bear the brunt of their church's vision.
The problem is that many churches are too much in a drive to push all new members or converts to workers level.

As if that is not worse enough, the RCCG claims to only decry the approach. Observe what they said, they only decry the approach.
They also claim to not condone or encourage any form of compulsion, but that is not true!!! RCCG makes a lot of things compulsory!! Like that if you are a worker you must attend the monthly Holy Ghost Night that causes demonic hold ups and traffic in Lagos because if the workers dont go they will be suspended for one year!! I clearly remember the Open Heavens devotional of October 2, 2015, the G.O made TITHE so compulsion that he stated that you cannot use the tithe to save someone who is in a critical condition in the hospital. He even said that if man curse you, God can reverse it, but that if God curse you, who will reverse it. How can a God who shed his blood and died curse you because of money!!!!

That is the height of compulsion!

Meanwhile, these men of God will fight tooth, nail, claw and paws to defend an unholy tithe payment, but when they come to a giving like the one in this case they will fight it. Isn't that strange!!!
