I was at the Calabar slave trade museum today for the very first time to help me with some inspirations to write and I saw something that was quite intriguing and very disturbing.
Do you know that as of the 3rd of October, 1957
Only 5% of the Nigerian population was into Agriculture
Agriculture provided 50% of our National Income
85% of our exports
80% food accounted of Agricultural produce
How did we get here?
These should be a great concern for every Nigerian.
Imagine having oil and Agric in good condition
Imagine the Haven Nigeria will be for investors
I am very happy that the government is trying to put things in place to revive the agricultural sector and I hope that they don't tread on the path of previous government.
