How Do I Get A Licence For A New Cinema House? by babatundeizbad(m): 11:59am On Jun 12, 2016
I am in the early stages of starting a cinema house with a capacity of no less than 600 seats and I have been trying to find out about if licencing is compulsory or not. Nothing is coming up through google as regards to Nigeria and the NBC website only mentions licensing for broadcast stations. Is it a virgin ground with no legislation?

sure you need a licence to run a cinema else police will storm there every day

Police won't be a problem, I'm thinking the local government council will be the problem not the police.

then you are really going to be in trouble with the police. If you don't have licence to run a cinema, the police will come for you. I have seen local cinema that has shut down due to police raiding every day.. Guess you know the rest

Starting a cinema business in Nigeria or anywhere across Africa is now easier and cheaper.

Consider Viewmax Entertainment as your partner in your journey of running a successful cinema business.

Viewmax is an entertainment technology company that operates a network of partner cinemas across Africa. The company will provide you with access to premium movies using their equipment installed in your cinema to show movies.

Viewmax also has an app that makes it easier for customers to buy tickets and locate your cinema easily.

Save your self the huge cost of buying cinema equipment that costs thousands of dollars. Kick off your cinema in just a couple of days!

In addition, Viewmax is particularly interested in community cinemas close to where potential customers live (housing estates, schools, and residential communities). Preferably with a seating capacity of at least 50 seats and a maximum of 80seats.
