A Professor of Religion on CNN not long ago, made me realise some fascinating things about the Bible.

To the Christians here, please add,correct or disagree with these facts please.

Thanks.

1-Cleanliness is next to Godliness is not in the Bible.

2-Spare the Rod, spoil the Child(nearest to this is Proverb 13)

3-The Bible does not State how many Wise men visited Jesus after he was born, but the Bible talked the Three Gifts, so people assumed they were Three Wise men. Luke 2 vs 7 and Matthew 2 Vs 1.

4- The Bible does not State Eve ate APPLE in the Garden of Eden, it said Fruit and did not mention APPLE. Genesis 3 vs 6.

5- This too shall pass- Not in the Bible

6- God help those who help Themselves- Not in the Bible

7-God works in a mysterious way- Not in the Bible

8- Love the Sinner, hate the Sin- Ghandi Actually said this one.

"God works in mysterious ways" actually came from a hymn.

1) Lot slept with his TWO daughters. Can you imagine the scene? The guy na bad guy grin

2) The holy spirit slept with Mary. Spiritual sex toh badt grin

3) Elijah flew on a fire filled chariot. That is like a modern day ferrari grin

4) God and satan gamble. Like in Job's case. At least born again christians can look forward to casinos in heaven grin

5) God smokes weed. That is why it is most high grin
