I am full of acrimony when i heard that the north East is pushing for a bill to establish "North East Development Commission". Ironically, this proceedings was Chaired by Igbekere Madu a Southerner without opposition from the South west and South East senators and this controversial bill is already scaling second readings.
At this juncture i start to question myself if the Senators from the South are respresenting us in the House or they are just stooges in the house.
If these use.l.ess so called Senators are representing us fairly, they should have countered the bill with bills to establish "South West Development Commission and South East Development Commission".
if the North East is in deep insecurity, they should blame there leaders for corroborating Boko haram and the likes and the most sham-eful thing about the North East is that they have not for once Condemned boko haram but instead aiding it and till now no arrest so far has been made, Resources at Federal government disposal that are suppose to benefit the entire nigeria is used to Fight the boko haram insurgency in a way to "Rub Peter and Pay Paul" and the Southern Senators are blind to see this unwholesome development.
We have been in a state of Hibernation for so long therefore Let us wake up.and call Southern Senators to Order.
