Why do we Nigerians keep thinking like dis? Cant we understand d fact that the FG is insensitive to d plight of ordinary Nigerians. ASUU strike will only cause more damage to d education sector as there's insincerity both in ASUU & FG. What d unilag VC has done is simply trying to show his understanding of d kind of irresponsible govt we av in nigeria & at d same time nt jeopardising d future of Nigeria

That can not be true, see the case of Benue State University, they needed money to pay their part time lecturers, where would that come from, Gbam despite the strike, they called for people to pay for the post UME examination. You can not say the UniLag VC was only being understanding, he perharps needed a new jeep and if the exams did not hold soonest, the jeep will be delayed.

Let the insincerity on the part of ASUU result to good lecture halls, functional generators, filled libraries and the autonomy of our universities. I dont see why someone will say someone asking for these thing is not sincere, are ASUU officials the contractors or will they have to sign for the release fo the funds? Let me put it to you that Nigeria Lecturers are the least paid in the whole of the West African Sub region. With such working conditions, if you bring in a foriegn lecturer, he will still commit those atrocities. The task of Nation building is left in the hand of these who are the neglected. Their cause is just enough at least what we can see. It will be a demeaning of the efforts of ASUU and the sacrifice of millions of Nigerian students if you sound this way. THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW!!!!
