The second round of Group stage matches concludes with Portugal taking on Austria in Group F at the Parc des Princes on Saturday night. Both sides are looking for their first win in the tournament. The two sides have not met since a 1-1 draw in 1995.

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo threw a temper tantrum following his side’s shock 1-1 draw with Iceland. The Real Madrid forward stormed off the field without shaking any opposition players’ hands before bad-mouthing his opponents in a post-match press conference.

Austria coach Marcel Koller was honest in his assessment of his side’s performance. “I’ve watched it again and it wasn’t our best game,” he told a press conference. “We had six or seven good chances, while Hungary had four and scored twice, and when you take your chances, it’s decisive.

“Our combination play also wasn’t good enough, which made it harder going forward, and for that reason we lost the game. Now what counts is standing up again, because we still have two games left. We have to clear our heads and get back on our feet so that we can be successful in the next game,” he added.

Both sides will be hoping for major improvements in the upcoming match. Austria will be without the suspended defender Aleksandar Dragovic after he his sending off against Hungary.
