Chairman, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, special Task Team on Abuja Environmental Protection, Abdullahi Adamu Monjel (rtd.) has said that street hawkers and beggars apprehended in the FCT stand the risk of spending time behind bars if found guilty by the court.

Monjel made this disclosure over the weekend shortly after he led members of the Task Team on a “show of force” of its security personnel at the Jabi and Wuse Districts of Abuja.

The Chairman, who reiterated that the time for sensitization for the beggars and street hawkers to leave the Federal Capital City had elapsed
