Some idiatic fellaz saying it's PMB that freezes Fayose's acct... I pity una life!
Ayo Fayose is a chronic attention seeker. What's his offence that wld hv warranted d FG to freeze his acct? Any evidence showing "FG hereby freezes Mr. Ayodele Fayose's Zenith bank account"? In Nigeria of today, No One owns a single account just as we all have more than one mobile number.
You guys shld try to think b4 spewing thrash!
In other news, PDP is just in a pathetic situation. I wldnt blame them for their misery. Down they are and down they'll forever be. |

PassingShot: We love him even more. If it takes a tyrant to make treasury looters and corrupt politicians vomit part of their stolen wealth, so be it.
Beside the noisy lie that PMB disobeys court orders, no any cogent evidence supporting the claim.
Fayose, just as other governors, have immunity against prosecution. EFCC also has legal right to freeze any suspected account irrespective of who the owner is.
In this case, EFCC says it has very credible evidence that Fayose received security money from ATM Dasuki and the thugnor never even denies it. Should he now be allowed to still enjoy the money despite enjoying immunity against prosecution?
Mourning wailers and PDP can go and hang if they like.
Imagine people pauperized by these thieves even supporting them! You are exactly like a salt water without any usefelness. As am posting this comments, Fayese is in the bank demanding for a print out to confirm if Buhari the dumbest president, has actuall restricted any withdrwal. The bank has refused to make that available to Fayese and that no reasons has advanced. Know it today that as you celebrate Buhari, the reparcution of Buhari's desregard and the usual habit of underminding the rule of law and people, you will also be consumed. You talk of the one sided trials of opposion as very necessary. With all fairness, is it better to try only one party and there are many indications that Amaechi, Fasola, Thieffnubu etc are all corrupt. So many documents have been sent to efcc. Why would you ever reason that only people in pdp are corrupt. How would you ever prove that? Tufiakwa to you. 1 Like |

Ghost447: The ISSUE here is does the EFCC have the power in law to freeze the bank account of a citizen or not without recourse to a Court of law?. The answer in view of Section 34(1) of EFCC Act, is an emphatic"no". If EFCC cannot freeze any citizen's account without recourse to a court of law and section 308 of the Constitution says you cannot take Fayose to court because he is a Governor, does it not simply mean you cannot freeze Fayose's account as a Governor? Note: I'm not a member/supporter of any Political party or politicians, but I am a supporter of the Rule of law. EFCC was created by law and now they are disobedient to the same law that created them and empowers them. There are always procedures to be followed in every legal debacle or situation, but I just don't know why EFCC have suddenly decided to be using military approach to resolve issues. We cannot jettisoned the rule of law while "fighting" corruption because doing so will amount to greater evil and corruption. " The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch without doing anything" - Albert Einstein Go and get yourself legally tutored, and stop this crap. You know nothing about the power of Efcc. |

Dripy: Things have really gone from bad to worse. Is that the face of democracy or tyranny? Stupidity is when you bought fuel for N87 naira in a previous administration while crying foul and comfortably buying it now at N145 without making a fuss. How much was a bag of rice one year ago; what of kerosene and other household items? How much did you save from your salary before now and how much are you saving now? The issue at hand is beyond partisan inclination. People are really suffering and let us put Apc or Pdp out of the issue. The government has failed woefully and we must bring them to the court of probity, accountability, justice and fairplay. If you are not infected, you will be affected. Ogbeni shut up jor. eyeview: Has anyone noticed that those apc fans who were calling for GEJ's head because of some hours of blackout are all of a sudden very 'comfortable' with days of total uninterrupted blackout. Isn't that hypocrisy?
The people who were enraged when the price of fuel was reduced from N97 to N87 by GEJ,stating that the reduction wasn't enough now comfortable with an increase to N145 even with the huge fall in the price of oil in the international market. Booring
I still want to know the juju that apc used to effect this kind of zombeism(inability to think independently and objectively). Tinubu will know more about that dept. |
