Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has deleted the controversial tweet, labeling one of the state governors as an unchained mad dog. “Enough is Enough Fayose. A mad dog that isn’t chained. I refuse to keep quiet,” the First Lady posted on her verified Twitter handle on Tuesday’s evening.

However, the tweet and its follow-up was deleted hours after Nigerians reacted to them. Earlier, the Presidency has said that Fayose acted so infantile by linking Aisha to US Congressman William Jefferson’s bribery scandal for which the American lawmaker was convicted in 2009. Following the blockage of account of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, which he operates with Zenith Bank Plc, the governor has vehemently reacted to the development, alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari and his family members are not saints after all. Accusing President Muhammadu Buhari and his family of being corrupt, the Governor said in a press release by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Idowu Adelusi, that, ” Even the President cannot claim to be an angel. The estate he built in Abuja is known to us. His wife was indicted over the Halliburton Scandal. When that American, Jefferson, was being sentenced, the President’s wife was mentioned as having wired $170,000 to Jefferson. Her name was on page 25 of the sentencing of Jefferson. We can serialize the judgment for people to see and read.”

The message has already served its purpose. To give a dog it's real name. Silly man who suddenly descended into an arena to fight with someone else's wife because the poor woman's husband has used blows to remove his teeth

Good deed. At least Fayose will know that there's still enough spitballs invectives to reset his brain. This are the kind of men that beat other people's wives. I think the disgrace served him and the ekiti people right.

i think there is an atom of truth to what fayose said...

why give us a passport of the said woman? The buhari Efcc we know would have found the woman physically.

"mad Dog" is not a way to dispute the allegation, Obama is a phone call away, you are the first lady, let the US issue a statement clarifying your stance..

its does not warrant throwing insults and all, mere proof would justify your stand and even boost your support. we know how easy it is to generate a passport, talk more from the presidency.....
