It has been argued in many quarters that SSCE should not be the highest academic qualification of a Nigerian president. American presidents for instance attend ivy league schools.

As conflicting as this might seem, no standard company in Nigeria accepts a 3rd class graduate at entry level. Why should Nigeria still keep to this part of the constitution. Although academic qualification does not translate to competence but understanding some complex economic relationship is key to any country's growth, if the leader can use the knowledge.

What is your take on this?

A man who has never gone to school may steal a freight car; but if he has a university education, he may steal the whole railroad..

Let me make a point of correction before you get things mixed up.
The military qualification of PMB is equal to a masters degree.
The issue of his SSCE arose because PMB wants to remain humble and by the way it is the minimum requirement by the Nigerian constitution so he presented his SSCE instead of his other military qualification.
The PDP capitalised on this saying he did obtain an SSCE even his constituency denied him. We all know he has an SSCE as Cambridge and his secondary school has vindicated him

. You are both a liar and a deceiver but you can only deceive yourself and your likes. The constitution did not say 'equivalent of master's degree' but simple SSCE. If you say he has cambridge version of it, why has he hired 13 SANS to fight legal battle instead of doing the simple thing. #buharishowyourcertificate

He has a Masters degree equivalent yet he doesn't understand what "inclusive government" means. Try and see the video on youtube. Believe it or yes, he doesn't understand the complex relationship between economic indices. Body language is not all that Nigeria needs. She needs intellectual excellence first. It's not a party-sided arguement. It's a fact-based presentation. The legislators are even making the case worse.
