|Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by megablizz: 8:47am On Jan 11|
Happy new Year Nairalanders,
I have been TTC for almost 3years now, we have carried out all necessary test in a hospital and also a private laboratory.
Each finding showed that I was not properly ovulating, the last diagnosis showed low Progesterone of 0.2ng/mL.
I have taken Clomid and Letrazole as prescribed by the doctor and also HCG shot before a failed IUI.
What would be the best solution to this?

giftfromGod:In trying to conceive naturally the first thing is to check that both tubes are patent with no blockage and also no abnormally. Please see a specialist to book a hysterosalpingogram(Hsg) this will determine if you need to keep trying naturally or got for assisted reproduction.
Please Ladies as much as most of us are religious it is not really productive to tell someone God,s time is the best or wait on the lord.God created Drs and you can visit a Doctor and remain prayerful for the best outcome.Let’s be practical.

I am sorry to hear you IUI failed.
In trying to conceived through assisted methods there are no guarantees that the first time would work.Try again when you feel ready would be my advice. Most people pay for three cycles because it is cheaper in the long run and offers you more chances.

cherishyy:Or perhaps the author needs to take it easy and be kind to herself and not stress and call herself names.
Also being a good person has nothing to do with your lot in life. It’s only been a few months plus they must have had a discussion before deciding on a long distance marriage.Eventually something will have to give and one person would need to relocate.

I think you need to breathe and calm down. You have not been forgotten by God. In as much as his timing is the best, you and hubby have to sit down to talk things out.
I wouldn't ask either of you to resign due to the nation's economy but then you can arrange to meet biweekly if not weekly.
It will give you a better chance. Baby dust to you.

Good day sisters.i was suppose to drop my testimony since 2016,but 4give me.i ttced for 2 years,i read all d posts here and really helped.i was disgnosed of blocked tubes.(my both tubes).that birthed my ivf journey.i had 2 failed ivf at bridge, clinics in lagos.2015,there was a bayelsa woman,s contact dat was posted here.i contacted her for tubes flushing(very painful procedure)it ended in futility too..after which i tried hydrotubation,a hospital procedure dat involves flushing of tubes.i also got d doctor's contact from here.after d procedure,i repeated hsg,and one tube was opened, unfortunately,d scan revealed fibroids.i couldn't tell dh about d fibrods.d hospital i did hydrotubation started monitoring me 4 ovulation everymonth since i had an open tube, but still nothing happened.after all dese i kind of realised it was more than a physical battle.i had to hold God firmly.i met my pastor,he prayed over me and told me to stop praying.in his words,u have prayed enof madam,he asked i switch into praises.i entered midnight praise.i would wake up 12 midnight everyday and praise God in advanvce for my kids, conception, safe delivery(mentioned d names in faith) and boom dat same month has my first positive result ever in my life.i had my baby aug 2016.my birthstory will be in our sister thread.
Never give up on God,he still does miracles.delay is never denial.
Forgive all typo errors

Prolactemia is noncancerous tumor of the pituitary gland. This tumor causes the pituitary to make too much of a hormone called prolactin. The major effect of prolactinoma is decreased levels of some sex hormones — estrogen in women and testosterone in men.
Although prolactinoma isn't life-threatening, it can cause vision difficulties, infertility and other problems. Prolactinoma is the most common type of hormone-producing tumor that can develop in your pituitary gland.
Doctors can often treat prolactinoma with medications to restore your prolactin level to normal. Surgery to remove the pituitary tumor also might be an option.
Prolactinoma might not cause any noticeable signs or symptoms. However, excessive prolactin in your blood (hyperprolactinemia) or pressure on surrounding tissues from a large tumor can cause signs or symptoms. Because elevated prolactin can disrupt the reproductive system (hypogonadism), some of the signs and symptoms of prolactinoma are specific to females or males.
In females, prolactinoma can cause:
Irregular menstrual periods or no menstrual periods
Milky discharge from the breasts when not pregnant or breast-feeding
Painful intercourse due to vaginal dryness
Acne and excessive body and facial hair growth
In males, prolactinoma can cause:
Decreased body and facial hair
Enlarged breasts, uncommonly
In both sexes, prolactinoma can cause:
Low bone density
Reduction of other hormone production by the pituitary gland as a result of tumor pressure
Loss of interest in sexual activity
Women tend to notice signs and symptoms earlier than men do, when tumors are smaller in size, probably because of missed or irregular menstrual periods. Men tend to notice signs and symptoms later, when tumors are larger and more likely to cause headache or vision problems.
When to see a doctor
If you develop signs and symptoms associated with prolactinoma, see your doctor to determine the cause.

Prolactinoma is one type of tumor that develops in the pituitary gland. The cause of these tumors is unknown.
The pituitary gland is a small bean-shaped gland situated at the base of your brain. Despite its small size, the pituitary gland influences nearly every part of your body. Its hormones help regulate important functions such as growth, metabolism, blood pressure and reproduction.
Other possible causes of prolactin overproduction include medications, other types of pituitary tumors, an underactive thyroid gland, ongoing irritation to the chest, pregnancy and breast-feeding.
More prolactinomas occur in women than men. The disorder is rare in children.
Complications of prolactinoma may include:
Bone loss (osteoporosis). Too much prolactin can reduce production of the hormones estrogen and testosterone, resulting in decreased bone density and an increased risk of osteoporosis.
Pregnancy complications. During a normal pregnancy, the production of estrogen increases. If you are pregnant and have a large prolactinoma, these high levels of estrogen may cause tumor growth and associated signs and symptoms, such as headaches and changes in vision.
Vision loss. Left untreated, a prolactinoma may grow large enough to compress your optic nerve. This can cause a loss of peripheral vision.
Low levels of other pituitary hormones. With larger prolactinomas, pressure on the normal pituitary gland can lead to lower levels of other hormones controlled by the pituitary, including thyroid hormones and cortisol (a stress-response hormone).

I have been trying to conceive for a year now. Hubby’s sperm result is very ok.
I do experience sperm leakage immediately after sex tho. Could this be the problem
|Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Oyindamolah: 9:24pm On Jan 14|
ladyKcy:How do you know hubby's sperm is okay?
After sex try and do put a pillow below your waist for 30 mins or doggy style is better advised
