Three Nigerians – Olanrewaju Adeloye, Imrana Alhaji Buba and Olumide Femi Makanjuola were honoured by Queen Elizabeth II in a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Thursday. The Nigerian contingent were among the 60 exceptional young leaders from 45 commonwealth countries who were honoured with the 2016 Queens’ Young Leaders award. The Queens’ Young Leaders award recognises the outstanding leadership of young people across the Commonwealth nations. Prince Harry and retired football superstar David Beckham were present at the awards ceremony. See more photos from the ceremony held at the Palace’s ballroom.
