WHEN THE ABLE - BODY BECOME VESTIGE

BY

KASIM O. IBN ABBAS.

It's glare and clear that more than an average Nigerians are complaining of the economy and life hardship in our father land, economic hardship doesn't mean that market women's doesn't sell or Banks doesn't transact, but buying and selling is of high and unaffordable price.
This great menace in the land is suppose to be of major concerned to the government and peoples of the authority.
If government and peoples of the authority tends to be sleeping or slumbering, I expect some of my beloved men's and women's of influence to shout it our loud on social medias. until it gets to the appropriate quarters, where proper nursing can be done.
Where are the social network prolific writers of our time, likes of Sarafadeen Ottan, Akinsuyi Akin Najeem, Femi Owolabi, Ayilara AbdelQhoudhry, Modiu Olaguro, Zainab Manko, etc.. or is it that you are scared of writing a warning to the government? or you got a share from Dasuki and Co, looted funds? If not so! am expecting your write - up on medias.
My major call for this this write up, is to call on the attention of the president of this great country. Gen. Muhammad Buhari, and most especially the Governor of the state (Niger) where am residing, that alot of strange and unspeakable things of negative effects is springing up, which require immediate and quick measure.
My experience during the week in the city of Minna, really call for a great concerned, just in a day up to 5 able men's well dressed, agile and healthy walked up to me in different locations saying "Good day sir! please its more than 3 days now, I haven't eat something good, am a teacher with the state, and we haven't been paid, Please I need food and not money! while the few others stilled of same status, well dressed, healthy, educated with a coined spoken English, "Good day sir, please am just from my place work, and I dont have transport fare, can you please help me with any amount?
My very self, been one of the unemployed youth could not afford much to them, than giving the little amount on me. It is not that am recounting on what I have done to them, but to share the problem springing up, because if proper care is not taken, I pray it doesn't lead to unspeakable, most especially, when its affecting the youths "PLEASE ENGAGE THE YOUTH"
Fortunately, that same night in my compound, I had my neigbours discussing about the recent and rampant mode of stealing and robbing, narrating the call she received from her friend who is residing in one of the areas in the city, that they were attacked by armed men's at night, saying, we knew that you people too don't have money, has we all knew the country is hard, but all the foodstuffs you have at home is what we care for...... and if you dont have food at home, then you are in our trouble, said the armed men's. And that's was how they were all robbed in the compound of their foodstuffs, not excluding Palm oil, Pepper, Maggi, and even Salt was not left out. thus; no life was lost in the robbing process. Can this be reported at the Police Station?
In same vein, my other neighbour also narrate what his co - staff told him at work, of what befell his family, that his wife took Alubu (Yam flour) to engine for grinding, and their neigbour went there to pick the grinded (Yam flour), claiming that her neighbour asked her to help in bringing it home. The best she did was to make Amala for the children and herself, when been confronted, she said " the last time, we eat in this house was about 3 days ago, and in other not to die of starvation, that's what prompt her to to just that.
Hmmmmmmmmmm ........ was my word, because I can't help them too.
Now, the question here, is that, who is responsible for this latest development? Is it the government? ourselves? Or is it even a test of faith from our creator?
Please, if you have do not hesitate to share with the less privileged one's

God bless our homes
God bless our States
God bless Nigeria.
