What should Nigeria learn from this? There is a real cost to tribalism and xenophobia. The world is a global village with no permanent indigenes or associations and it has always been this way. Most of our forefathers came from the plains of northern sahara as evidenced in our DNA but yet we get territorial and primitive like animals in a pack fighting for food. There is a reason God made us advanced beings. Let's use that God given gift to think like advanced humans. For now whatever is happening in the UK, EU, world economies is knee jerk reactions to Brexit. We can only say if this was a good decision after like 2 years. Even at that, 10 years down the line, Britain might be pulling her weight again. They should bear the consequence of their actions eitherways. |
