Honorable Minister of State for petroleum and Group Managing Director NNPC Group, Ibe Kachikwu Lead a team to meet China Investors’ at a retreat "Roadshow" which kicked off with a visit to China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO).



Dr. Ibe Kachikwu led his team to successfully sign a potential deal for $8.5 billion of investment with NORINCO.

They invest $8.5b this year, most of it going back to China to buy Chinese equipment and labour and to shipping companies; they get to extract $85.0b in value over the next 10 years; we won't maintain whatever it is; and we still won't have any engineering capacity when all is said and done. Smh

The China North Industries Corporation, officially abbreviated as Norinco, is a Chinese company that manufactures vehicles (trucks, cars and motorcycles), machinery, optical-electronic products, oil field equipment, chemicals, light industrial products, explosives and blast materials, civil and military firearms and ammunition. Norinco is also involved in domestic civil construction projects.

Nigeria needs investments... If we build our gas infrastructure, we get improved power and that has a ripple effect on the economy.

And yes, they will make their profits but that is expected from business.
