Nigeria's economy is heading for recession according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

Many economic and financial experts concur with the NBS.

Scientific analyses by independent entities point to downward movement of standard of living due to poor or lack of policy formulation by Buhari.

Major credible organizations are reporting increase in abject poverty evidence in growing malnutrition cases especially in the north.

Eminent religious and traditional leaders across the country - including the Sultan of Sokoto, Olubunmi Okogie etc - have voiced out their disappointment concerning the economy.

Sudden deaths, physical and mental strains of Nigerians are reported daily in the media. What is more? Violent crimes as well as petty theft are on the increase. Families are breaking apart. Able bodied men are losing their confidence and taking a walk from their families as a result of hopelessness.

A hitherto growing, hopeful and boisterous middle-class is now shattered leading many to file applications for overseas visa as a last resort.

Polling a largely illiterate respondents on their opinion about their god's performance is the most subjective endeavor so far.

How does a poll sugestive of expectations of the distribution of N5,000 to the largely illiterate population represent the opinion of the productive population?

Even more unprofessional is the skewing of polling respondents number - sample population - in favor of the region where the subject is being worshipped.

By the time Buhari's term expires, many hitherto respected organizations and professionals would have lost their credibility.

"Unveiling the poll result yesterday during a press briefing in Abuja, the acting regional director, IRI, John Tomaszewski, said that despite regional divisions and dwindling economy, 54 per cent of Nigerians feel that the country is headed in the right direction.

Of the respondents, 68 per cent were from the North and 38 per cent from the South, but there are stark divisions in perceptions about the country’s trajectory".

The poll was conducted in the north and does not represent the views of all Nigerians, Do this people expect the northern region to deny their man?...no matter how bad a northerner behave he will still get the support of his brothers.

sometimes, when u talk, I mean u wailers (whether u are not one doesn't matter because u jes talked as one), I wonder why ur senses eludes u.

U wanted us to tackle the issue constructively, but u went ahead and talk trash!

If u want to be constructive, oya, begin to compare the 5 and half yrs of Jonathan with buahri...

U guys are not calling a spade a spoon talkless of a spade...

Na buhari dey sponsor ur brothers wey dey blow up every pipes wey cause power to be down or income to be down?

Even with that, States can't say they didn't receive their allocations and federal workers collects salaries before month end. Something that was a mystery and an impossible task during Jonathan who kept eating fat and talking abt the Nation being broke even at an all time historic $115/barrel with full production every day!

Yeye dey smell...

Lazy president, l guess it was Niger Delta militants that made him delay choosing ministers six months after been elected.

If Jonathan failed, then Buhari is performing far worse and there is no mistake about it, not withstanding the propaganda and fake poll to deceive the gullible folks called zombies. The indices of a worse off system is there for all to see.

Lol, that year NOI was doing one fake polls like that for Jona, claiming he was performing and Nigerians were fully behind him, it became clear when Nigerians "capooted" Jona back to Otuoke.

As for this here, all I can say is, things would have been far far worse had the last admin continued till now considering how they were mercilessly looting without plans for the hard times when we had plenty, them for don sell Naija to Ghana by now. So I would give it to Buhari but I do not believe in any poll.

What are you giving to Buhari?
