The Federal Government has disclosed of plan to deploy all the four International Radio Monitoring Stations (IRMS) across the country to counter “illegal radio broadcast” by Boko Haram, Niger Delta Avengers and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The IRMS facilities are located in Azare in Bauchi State, Gusau in Zamfara State, Ipaja in Lagos State and Ogoja in Cross River State.

Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, in a statement issued on Wednesday by his media aide, Victor Oluwadamilare, said the FG was in the process of rehabilitating the moribund IRMS and would thereafter deploy them to counter any radio or internet broadcast capable of undermining the country’s national security.
It added that: “The IRMS are strategically located in various parts of the country as security surveillance to monitor radio broadcast activities, so as to guide against illegal use of the radio frequency airspace for unauthorized broadcast by proscribed groups, political and ethnic motivated dissidents.

“The Federal Ministry of Communications has adequately appropriated for rehabilitation works on the IRMS facilities across the country in the 2016 Federal Government budget and has consequently warned against any illegal occupation and acquisition of any fraction of land on which these infrastructures are located.”

If buhari can not lead d country as one, then ds evil contraption should be dissipated into many fractions as possible. The people shld rise against ds babarism n lawlessness fostered by d "press- idiot" of "Nijeriya". Besides did ds pass thr legislature or proper court proceedings.

Lmao! You dey mind the illiterate foools commenting up there. They didn't even bother to ask their lord El-dullardeen why repeated attempt to jam Radio Biafra have failed with millions of dollars gone down the drain.

When Radio Biafra was on Satlink the illiterate bufoons spent billions they would have used to feed poverty-stricken zombies buying off Satlink to yank off Radio Biafra. Radio Biafra simply migrated to another Sat Host and continued blasting away and even opened a shortwave frequency, yet they continued spending trying to muffle the transmission to no avail.

See...forget talk, zombigerians are the most illiterate bufoons in the world. IRMS can only monitor, it can not block signals. It means the muslim zombies will keep hearing Radio Biafra and gnash their teeth for a long while until they come to their senses and chart a different country for themselves away from the SESS they love to hate. grin grin

How on earth will you block Radio Biafra when I can listen to it every day via the radio app? Are you going to block the Internet as well? Jokers
Re: FG To Block Radio Broadcasts By Boko Haram, NDA, IPOB by Nobody: 7:45am On Jun 30, 2016
The highest they can do is to block them, but when the people have made up their minds, not even blocking or Jamings of the radio stations can stop it.

Whether by jamming it or not, people are always resolute on what they wanted...you can't force people against their will, rather you can by demmostration and conviction prove to people why they should agree with you

President Buhari is d auto corrected name for Dullardinh*o by d mods of NL. But it is news of signal jamming like this that brought up DAT metaphor. How cud d FG who paid a lot of dollars to d Israeli company DAT used to host Radio Biafra transmission to block their airing but failed suddenly want to dust up analogue techniques of the 4 IRMS for same purpose and hope to achieve a successful result. Listening to Radio Biafra now on its app and I don't ever see anyone jamming any broadcast streaming on d Internet. They are discussing how d Igbo politicians doll out d investiture of d 'red cap' chief titles to d Northerners cos of political patronage without a commensurable reciprocation from d traditional institutions of d north towards d Igbos. This thread has just made me to tune in to this app I v managed to avoid for some time now and this first gospel is just nothing but d truth.

So that should be someone's ambition? Or achievement in life? Crippling their countries economy?

Why don't you go and marry one of them? Or maybe when you have kids you should pray they get such a job!
