My Nissan Primera 1995 Engine Switches Off Whenever I Slow Down.. by giddy01: 10:02am On Jul 01, 2016
Hello Nlanders. Happy new month. I have a Nissan Primera 1995 model. Recently I have noticed that whenever I slow down the engine dies. I have to restart. Please what could be the problem? Could it be the slow or idle is too low? Thanks.

Last time i encountered that, it was as a result of blocked injector nozzle and it was serviced. Also, check if d 'slow' is not too low

You may have faulty spark plug(s)...misfiring. U may test run d plugs by removing d cable one by one while d engine is on, any plug that does not make any sound engine effect is bad, therefore, change it or change all d plugs. Good to go

Thanks everyone for your responses. The problem with the car going off was because the slow was too low. It had been tuned up and and the engine dying in motion had stopped. Last time I experienced jerking, the " air flow meter" was cleaned and the jerking had stopped too. Nice week all.
