I'm not surprised, getting to ikeja yesterday at the fedex office, a fedex staff was saying he saw a car and checked thoroughly but saw no one driving it. We were amazed at his saying but i didn't doubt him.

Hello. This is the last page before any argument or derailment breaks out.

On topic: Nigerians are and would forever remain clueless. The comments on this thread show me majority of us are not ready to stay enlightened. I'm not surprised, this forum is a reflection of the wider society.

Abuja is definitely not ready! The city of Abuja is in a sorry state in every aspect.

No thanks to the past FCT ministers under GEJ and even the present Minister under APC has not shown any hope that the city will be better off!

President Muhammad Buhari should take time to go round Abuja city and not just sit in the villa. He should learn from the legacy the late General Murtala Muhammed left behind.

Depends on what part of the world you live, where I am at there are a lot of cars already driving without fuel, they are as common on the road same way Camry is common on Naija roads. I don't mean hybrid cars,I'm saying cars that drives without any fuel in them such as Tesla. As from next year 2017 there'll be Tesla 3 which will be cheaper than Toyota camry. Very few years from now the whole North America should be saying goodbye to fuel and that's when the real suffering will start in naija.

palsenator:
In the nearest future, man will fly with wings , cars will run without fuel, we will use our mind to control our electric appliances. We will evolve technologically.

Some joker out a tape over the toyota logo.

The only self driving car available for sale is the Tesla S, and that is not a Tesla(no electricity anyway)

Some people could have sworn it was built by Innoson

These autopilot cars are dangerous, Tesla's autopilot car just killed the driver few days ago.
Technology just have to be improved. That certainly points out a flaw in the camera’s ability to recognize a solid white object and differentiate it from the sky. In that sense it's a failure and a tragic one.

Tesla clarified that accident took place because Against a bright spring sky, the car’s sensors system failed to distinguish a large white 18-wheel truck and trailer crossing the highway and the car attempted to drive at full speed. Here is the tweet by Elon Musk

How will this car give -N-20.00 to the Nigerian Police on the road. It is unacceptable. The new IG should report them to the president. Why now he just took over.

Doesn't make sense to me. The image-processing software in self-driven cars detects lane stripes, stop lights and road signs which help in its decisions but we lack those in most of our roads.

I heard on the radio last night about one of these cars in another country that had an accident resulting to the death of the driver. Reason? The software couldn't detect the difference between the bright white sky and the white painted truck that collided with the car.
