It is training, not torture. One cannot build nerves of steel without going through a hard, rigorous regime of training. Its almost like flogging a child to eat his food in order to grow.
Imagine going for a surgical operation somewhere in Afghanistan and the only way to hide from the enemy bullets is to dive into the nearest stinking gutter. Will you hesitate?

Well for laughing at Nigerians today they will not have a stronger miltary.

This is why these guys call us bloody civilians and hate us so much. They are just transformed into animals with no heart in the name of training. You can see how the person who is training them is flogging and at the same time cursing them. They will graduate from the training and start practicing this on us backing it up with BLOODY CIVILIANS.

Real war is not fought on nairaland, tarred roads, NASS corridors, officers mess, transcorp hilton etc.

Were u expecting them to wash off after each trip? Or take a cleaner route when facing enemy fire? Let d Kenyans' laugh their bellys full, el shabab has been with them forever, e no concern us!

This is how you make hard men. The problem is they are not keeping them in enough motion. and the whipping isn't doing much constructive. Stressed people sink to the lowest level of training they have mastered. This is how you make men who will put up with hardship and will not shrink from fear.
