What are your thoughts? If you think Christians should do it,give your reason but if not so,your reasons too.Don't kill me with your insane comments tho'. The question was asked by someone so your 'reasonable' comments would do.

Noooo. A born-again Christian shouldn't. It's as sinful as wearing traditional attires and eating foods known with your tradition

lol

The way we are going in this country, people will soon be asking if it is a sin to bear your native name, or eat your native food, or wear your native clothes, or even speak your native language.

The white man has really dealt with us in this Africa.

Hey... it's with your kinda people that nothing will move forward in Nigeria. It's a simple question that requires a simple answer and not an answer from someone that is so negative about everything. It's a thought, and I think I have the right/freedom to express it. Just get sense and stop with the negativity

The scripture says what God has joined together, let no man put asunder. If the christian God is to join people together, where will he do except in the church and in the presence of his priest and congregation? Everything doesn't have to be explicit in the bible. Christian tradition has even established it, so why contend it? As much as people's tradition should be respected and has its place in marriage, a Christian marriage is not completed until when it is consummated in the presence of God in his church.
