according to how I understand it: Part of the new rule is that special institutions (Agriculture, Technology etc) should admit all their needed number of students into their 'specialty' only i.e. a university of Agriculture should admit only students studying agric-related courses. my Questions: --What happens to those students who have applied for these kinds of school to study a course that is not the school's specialty(I'm currently one) even though the schools offers other courses e.g A school of Agriculture offering social sciences and engineering courses? --Can the school's facilities be enough(e.g. lecturers, tools/resources etc) as more than double of their previous students would be admitted into the related departments? --What happens to the lecturers and other staff of these other depts as most would be rendered useless? and so on... Please, I need clarification or maybe it's me that has not correctly understood that part in the modality. |
