Today, Samsung has decided to put an end to rumours as it official unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Limited Edition in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In addition, Samsung also revealed Rio 2016 app and on-the ground activations throughout Brazil to mark the official launch of Samsung’s global Rio 2016 Olympic Games campaign.

Samsung further revealed that it will making available 12,500 of Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Limited Edition and Gear IconX to all Olympian at the Rio 2016 and this will be in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and athletes will receive Samsung’s latest smartphone accessory — the Gear IconX cord-free earbuds giving them a great fitness experience by in-ear heart rate monitor and standalone music player. Not forgetting that the athletes can also use the devices with Samsung’s S Health app when paired with the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Limited Edition to give fitness updates of the athletes.
