New Living Translation Matthew 23:8-10 “Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters. And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your spiritual Father. And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah. so why are we still doing it? does it mean we don't care or we have decides to overlook that portion of the Bible  what about our pastors, can't they correct us?? are they enjoying the honour despite the fact that its wrong. pls I need answers......... 1 Like |

A group of people who choose to violate bible teachings are not true Christians. The standard is very clear here. I think this is one means to identify true or counterfeit christianity. Interestingly, not all Christian denominations use such titles. |

Dem dey enjoy d honour, d power & d tithes. Pls u people shud read DEUT 14: 22-29 & u'll see how God instructs us 2 EAT our tithe every yr. At d 3rd yr, we'r 2 GIV our tithes 2 LEVITES (WHO HAV NO PROPERTY OF THEIR OWN), FOREIGNERS, ORPHANS & WIDOWS. Why do our modern pastors & clergy hide DEUT 14: 22-29 from people? Chai! |

Most people called Pastor today don't know what Christianity is all about... They are only interested in peoples money that is it.  And those that called them such refuse to accept the truth 2 Thes 2:11-12 |
