Is the Divided & Docile Southern Nigeria's Land for Grabs? A Research Adventure. by Nobody: 4:40pm On Jul 10, 2016
I have watched with keen interest the recent spate of violence that seems to be escalating in Southern Nigeria, particularly after the change of government. There has been upsurge in the Fulani-farmers' conflicts & militant attacks even in areas where such conflicts had never occured. In the first series of this epic fact-finding mission, I will beam light on the propable causes and implications of the Fulani herdsmen and farmers' conflicts in the Middle Belt and of recent, South Eastern and South Western Nigeria. Next I will try to establish probable connections between the Boko Haram in the North Eastern Nigeria, the 'Niger Delta' Avengers, the recent conflicts in some parts of Lagos, Crossriver and investment in oil and gas and other natural resources in the South. It will come in form of updates and will try to use empirical information as much as possible. There are assumptions in place and hypotheses to be tested in real time. This will be a real time research requiring intelligent contributions. Only empirical contributions are welcome. Anecdotal evidence that is verifiable is also admissible. If you are ready for this fact-finding mission, please kindly indicate that you are.
If the response is good, we will begin the fact finding mission in earnest.

Kind regards.
