People keep comparing ronaldo to messi but u never see them comparing ronaldo to pele or maradona. That is how great messi is.

People forget that if higuain didn't Bleep up in the last 3 finals, messi would have won 3 trophies for argentina.

Ronaldo deserves the balon d'or this year sha. Portugal won despite all odds.
So if Hiquai dey miss qoals the coach no fit substitute am.

Lessons I learnt

1. pogba is overrated

2. France is a black country

3. Ronaldo is better than Messi
1. See that Pogba issue, wish I can see Mourinho & tell him that he should not pay more than £20million for the overrated & not too skill ful guy.

2. France ll soon be invited to AFCON

3. Ronaldo may not be talented as Messi, but he's better than him as a human.

Messi will never evervwin the ballon door again

From a spiteful point of view, the short midget led his team to the finals and choked the fvck out, Nigga even missed a penalty and proceeded to cry like a lil Bitchh that he is...LMFAO

From a logical view, FIFA is widely known to be corrupt and with an organization trying hard to revamp its image, giving an award to a tax evader is as good as endorsing corruption.

Sure, the Ballon door is strictly for football achievements but why will they want to give that to a criminal?

Think of it as giving employee of the month to someone whom was involved in a brutal fight and spent the night at the police cell, that isnt laying a good example to the youngies in the organization

Whether you like it or yes, Mess I is the greatest player of all time, winning a tournament is not in any bodies power, Ronaldo was MIA yet his team won without him. Mess I is a great player, he had gone to ALL THE FINALS HE WON SOME AND OFFCOURSE LOST SOME. His retirement is a proof that he is not in any form of competition. So leave Our messi alone thanks
the criticism that's good for others is also good for Messi.
He retired like someone that has no more guts.
He may say he's not in competition with anyone.
Actually there's nothing wrong with his personal decision to quit. Just that he has been idolized as someone who ll not quit when the battle is tough. But he just did. World cup is in 2 years time. He could v waited till he's over 30 before w
quitting. Legends that retired after 32-35 are not saying they are competing with someone. They burn with passion even after winning a lot. If it was Ronaldo that quit like Messi he ll be termed a coward. But guess who the real coward is, Messi. See Patrice Evra, a gallant soldier. He has lost 4 champions league finals, one euro cup finals. Yet he kept playing till 35.

Africans don't appreciate footballers like the whites that's all. Just a case is our dullard president givin the eaglets 20k(what's that) for winning a trophy. So do not blame the whites it was the players that made their choice.

10 lessons from Portugal win:

1. Be good; do not care about looking good
2. Pray before you play; good luck is good
3. One man doesn’t make a team; you can lose your best and still win
4. If you can play well why cheat? your tricks can turn the game against you; Fayet already knows this
5. History is important, write your own the right way; if you are a Pepe the game may continue even if your leg is truly broken
6. Use your brain more than your heart; it pays to employ a Fernando
7. If you are playing an AU team reserve an AU player; better score goals than end up complaining like son of a Hallgrims
8. Never under estimate your opponent; he might have reserved an Eder
9. Win and don’t bother what your opponents will say, in their hearts they are wishing they are you; if you are a Didier Deschamps you will sit on the bench like a substitute thinking that by name you are a champion just to end up wailing 'i have wasted a chance'
10. Do not bet on your life savings; you may be bating against a ____Portugal

Just to pick on one point for now, the second and the importance of team spirit as regarding Nigeria, its leaders, its people and its polity. Can we say the same. If the Nigeria was the Portugese team standing against such massive odds are we constituted from leadership to commoner, from captain to physio to win anything. Is Nigeria not Ronaldo and the rest. Can we win if he limps out in the 25th minute?....hmmm.

Individuals don't win championships, but teams do. In a team, nobody is indispensable.

...and nations are not built by individuals but by nationals united in one purpose. So when one is substituted for the other then the destination is furtherest than ever before. Nigeria beware. No one should be indispensable.

Na. That crown belongs to Edison Arantes de Nascimento aka Pele. FIFA player of the Century. IHHS holder of most goals ever scored in a professional career at over 1,200. Most league goals at 541. Guiness Record Holder. 3 time world cup winner.
There is no comparison in terms of achievements whatsoever. Pele is simply the G.O.A.T.

I reali like Messi's raw talent but d guy is only CLUB FOOTBALL GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME....no one has done so much for a football club b4.

I agree. He is a club guy through and through. I think the problem he has is football sickle cell. The AS from Spain and the AS from Argentina donot match. That indoctrination at La Masia at such a young age screwed up his football identity badly such that as he developed in the game he became less Argentine and more spanish. With such strong tiki-taka genes he should have changed nationality to Spain after the Junior World Cup he won. The jury is still out on whether he can be effective in any team other than FC Barca.

It's because they are both far from pele and maradona. from all indication Ronaldo is greater and better than messi to the extent that messi ganged up with team mate to let suares had the highest goal in laliga. If messi is a sound player, then let him move to another Football club, Ronaldinho moved to another club and we saw what happen.

bro...u funny sha, messi ganging up with suarez lol. Do you know what scoring 91 goals in a calender year, 73 goals with 23 assists in all competitions, 50 goals in laliga means?
Messi did all that without suarez. He isn't playing the false nine role anymore but cr7 is becoming more of a poacher like gerd muller. Messi is still the highest goal scorer in 2016 calender year(check it online). The highest cr7 has had is 61 goals in all competitions and i think 69 in a calender year.
Messi has a better freekick conversion rate than cr7. Infact if messi misses his next 147 freekicks he will have the same conversion rate with cr7.
Messi is a better dribbler than cr7
Messi is a better passer than cr7
cr7 has only 1 laliga title in 7 years because of who??

Ronaldinho's case is different, he started droping form before he left barca. He was always partying and drinking. He lost his motivation because he had already won everything, that is why guardiola sent him away. But ronaldinho at his peak was more entertaining than messi. His top 10 goals are even far better than messi and cr7's own
