Nemesis,
Any idea on why your air force was quoted saying that your rafale is 2.5 times the range of your Su-30mki?

Oga nemesis what is your take on the recent attack by the isreali airforce ln Damascus. Is it that they have gotten a clue about how to circumvent the s300?

Sorry missed ur post

Every system can be circumvented / exploited provided one is technologically and operationally capable enough to do so.

Eg even if one manages to have a clear and accurate electronic order of battle then they can exploit the gaps to penetrate without detection and hence destroy hostile systems without even the need to tangle directly with any of the elements of the overall air defence systems. Those systems will simple be blind in the EM spectrum they operate on. If the sensors can't see u , nothing can shoot u either.

All these ain't easy but it ain't tough either.

this is what we have been tell zohariel and the likes, all systems have flaws which can be exploited. Look at how many of such batteries that have been destroyed just in the wake of a week?

i thought the recent Israeli attack on Damascus was facilitated with the presence of 2 passenger jet(used as cover) coming from Iran.

The best for Iran is to get a new airbase outside of Damascus and then fortify it with its "more capable bavar" S300 knock off.

Israeli launch long range missiles from Lebanese air space and hiding sometimes under civilian lines . they use to fly in damascus skies before S300 delivry . now they have limited solutions , using long range missiles without entering syrian air space and many missiles are intercepted too .

am aware of the pounding which consist of 3 attack waves shielded by two passenger airline.

Even a third aircraft from a Jordanian air company had to divert very far away from the Israeli and Lebanese air space to avoid unpleasant stories

I had given a generic explanation

There r hundreds of permutations and combinations possible for any measures and the corresponding counter measures from the other side.

Also every explanation has a other side to it.
Since every counter has a possible counter response provided one is up to the task.

All in all we will never know what is actually happening on the ground for real. Who is winning in the truest sense be it at the tactical or at the strategic level.

Propaganda and what we want to believe will cloud it all.

However one can say safely only those who develop and invest in the relevant technologies will always stay ahead rather than those who buy and use it.

It's way easier to extract the maximum from your system even if it is low tech provided u have developed it urself and hence can exploit it and evolve it on demand. But a system even if high tech is bought off the shelve, u will not be able to exploit it beyond a certain limit because u do not have the " know why " to exploit it to the fullest or evolve it on demand.

Anyways using civilian airlines as cover is not a responsible act .

The blame will lie on Isr.... if innocent civilians flyers r killed due to this.

Just what I suspected

Ind... media presstitudes quoting unnamed sources = horse shiiit

Don't read ind..... Main stream media

Anyways

Range depends on the mission and on the role

If a fighter is flying nap of the earth mission it's range will be low even with the same fuel load which in a high speed air high altitude interdiction mission would give the same fighter a much longer range ( with the same weapons payload )

Quoting range for comparisons is meaningless unless one takes into account the mission / role etc

In this world there is no such thing as " guarantee " especially among nations

Any guarantee will exist as long as ur interests or survival r linked to u coming good or allows u to come good on the guarantee.

Will America come good on her guarantee to Japan if mainland American itself comes under threat of existence ?
