Bottle water lyk Swan and Eva can serve as distilled water coz dey are de-ionised. My Prof. suggested I used dem wen I was doing my Undergraduate project.

Even if ur Prof. had asked u to use, it doesn't still makes it distilled water. Maybe ur prof know dat d ions and minerals it contains won't interfere with the experiment u are carrying out dat was why he asked u to use it.

Distilled water remains any water gotten after d condensation of water vapour. Jst like someone else said earlier, water from A/c is distilled

However, i wouldnt have said differently the scenario repeated itself cos the experience we have had so far with people asking for help on here shows that most were scammers in the end...

I will rather beg than to scam. I came from a good home. Assume you said the beggar may be a scammer, I wouldn't ve responded to you. But your statement was direct and capable of tarnishing my hard earned reputation. I joined nairaland since 2010 and never have they banned me for once. My profile hasn't changed. I am not boasting. I once posted my experience with my agent who rented my 3bedroom in lagos and ate the money. I had to lock him up at area g ogba and he refunded some. Like I stated in my post what I ve is a temporal problem and shouldn't warrant any one insulting me. Next time try to investigate people b4 calling them scammer. I swear to you if I see u face to face I will make u prove ur allegation against me. I ve to forgive u cos activities of idiot like u didnot stop well meaning people that ve respect for human dignity to help real people. Kudos to siena and gazzuzz.

Hi all,
My car battery (wet cell) was showing signs of impending failure, I had an electrician drain, replace the electrolyte and charge the battery.
however the battery still can't fully retain charge, my multimeter show it at 11 volts instead of 13 volts for a fully charged battery.
I read that epsom salt helps in de-sulphating the weak batteries to make them retain electric charge.

Has anyone tried this? Or does any one know where I can get epsom salt crystals?

If the electrolyte has been replaced and the battery is failing then its time to replace it.

Batteries can be revived but its a technical skill, it goes way beyond Epsom salts.

To cleanse my radiator, strong diluted bleach stays over night, wipes away crust and dirt. It could do same for your battery.

Millitary and Guerilla engineering are far apart from what are taught in varsity class room.
For instance mechanic will tell you that your radiator is dirt, and it needs washing, but you can simply pour a bottle of bleach, soaked overnight, drain thoroughly with water, you have gotten your self a new radiator, brush out surface debris. Kpam
