It is no longer news that the Fulani led administration has put the fastest growing economy in Africa , and third fastest growing Economy in the world in 2014 under the Goodluck jonathan administration in shambles, with failing policies and Scandals, going back on every promise made to Nigerians, with basically no idea on how to run a government.

But the real question is: does Nigeria have a vice president? I remember actively campaigning for this government in 2015, believing that the “Track records of the almighty “GMB” was going to set the records straight, and lead Nigeria to a “New world”. Many Questions arose, amongst the popular ones were: how would a man in his “alleged 70’s” lead a country of over 140 million? An uneducated fellow (whose secondary school education is still doubted today) lead the said Number? How would a man who has a track record of ferocious statements, especially after the loss of the election in 2011, only to come apologizing to Nigerians years later, begging for sympathy just to be elected handle the affairs of Africa’s largest economy? A man who has been perceived to be a religious man lead the aforementioned Nation?

But it seemed that the “Jagaban” of Nigeria in person of Baba Tinubu played his cards very well, always representing the “Yourba Nation” well enough with new tricks up his sleeve brought out a wonderful solution to the above questions, encouraging those of us “Blind Supporters without pay” to carry on with the mission of “Change”. Hand picking a “Professor”, to compensate for the seemed secondary school level of Education, a “Pastor” of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, dissuading the idea of islamization of the Nation. And at last, all efforts of the “corrupt free” Duo Won.

Today, According to Nigeriantimes.org, the headline reads “Osinbajo has failed the South West – Afenifere”. A democratic government is supposed to be bothered about the opinions of its citizens, as well as accept some form of constructive criticism. All we have seen is the various commissioning of projects and initiatives of the previous administration. From various railway lines, to YouWin projects, and all others. Power generation has dropped to its lowest In years.

One year and running, and the Giant of Africa has become a pauper. Failed economic polices here and there. Fulani herdsmen has become the agenda of today. Corruption witch hunting has replaced infrastructural development. Using all means to recover stolen funds at the expense of national development. One of the latest victims of the witch-hunt Femi Fani-Kayode a prominent voice on social media appears to have gone silent lately on social media. Perhaps some form of rehabilitation occurred during the EFCC “encounter”.

Nigerians really expected so much more. At least from a professor and Senior Advocate of the country. We are really hoping that things get better because the cost of living has almost doubled, yet the government has no intentions of salvaging the nation. I would really rate performance of this government far below average. What would you rate the performance of the current administration?

The VP cannot go beyond his boss' wishes, except if he's ready for clashes. I don't think anybody has the guts to go against the President now.
